SpaceX invites the public for Starlink internet beta test

If you sign up for the newsletter on the Starlink website, you will be notified via email if beta testing opportunities become available in your area.

Private beta testing is expected to begin later this summer, followed by public beta testing, starting with higher latitudes.
Starlink is targeting service in the Northern U.S. and Canada in 2020, rapidly expanding to near global coverage of the populated world by 2021.

We are looking forward to try this service and learn how it can improve already existing hybrid WANs.   
It is definitely promising news for people that live in rural areas where wired or wireless connectivity is poor.
