MDR: unbreakable live broadcasting

The Mitteldeutsche Rundfunk (MDR) is a public broadcaster in central Germany who often provides live broadcasts for outdoor sports events, political events and concerts during which interruptions are unacceptable.

With more live broadcasts taking place in remote locations, partly because of COVID19, it isn’t always guaranteed to have a reliable single internet connection that can cover an event without interruptions.
